This Privacy Policy explains how BizCard ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our website, digital business card platform, and NFC card services. By using BizCard, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
Account information: when you sign up, we collect your name, email address, username, and password (stored in encrypted form).
Profile information: the details you add to your digital business card or portfolio — such as your name, title, company, phone number, photo, social links, services, and work samples. This information is public by design and displayed to anyone who views your card or scans your NFC card.
Usage & analytics data: we record when your card or portfolio is viewed or scanned (for example, view counts) so you can measure engagement. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual viewers.
Communication data: if you contact us via WhatsApp, email, or our contact form, we keep a record of that conversation to provide support.
Device & log data: standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and device information, used for security and to improve our services.
2. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and digital profile
- To generate your unique shareable link, QR code, and NFC card pairing
- To show you analytics about your card views and network activity
- To process NFC card orders and provide customer support
- To send service-related notices (e.g., account or security updates)
- To improve, secure, and troubleshoot our platform
3. Sharing your public profile
Please remember: any information you add to your digital business card or portfolio is intentionally public — it is shown to anyone who receives your link, scans your QR code, or taps your NFC card. Do not add information to your public profile that you want to keep private. You can unpublish or edit your profile at any time from your dashboard.
4. NFC card orders & payments
NFC card orders are finalized over WhatsApp or email. We collect only the details needed to print and deliver your card (name, logo, design preferences, delivery address). Payment and delivery are handled in that conversation; we do not store your payment card details on our servers.
5. How we protect your data
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted passwords (hashing), secure connections (HTTPS), access controls, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to keep your data safe.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to retain it.
7. Your rights
- Access, edit, or update your profile information at any time
- Make your card or portfolio private or delete it entirely
- Request a copy or deletion of your personal data
- Object to processing or request correction of inaccurate data

8. Third-party services
We may use third-party services (e.g., hosting, fonts, analytics, WhatsApp for orders). These services have their own privacy policies, and we only share the minimum data necessary for them to function.

BizCard is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of BizCard after changes means you accept the updated policy.
